How we approached the project

This Palm Harbor lakefront property had an existing low-voltage outdoor lighting system that was outdated and underperforming. Fixtures were poorly placed, lighting was uneven, and the system was no longer showcasing the home’s architecture or natural surroundings.

We began with a full site audit to identify problem zones and lighting gaps. From there, we developed a custom lighting plan focused on balance, coverage, and aesthetic impact—especially along the driveway, entry path, and waterfront edge.

What did we do

  • Replaced 45+ outdated landscape lights with premium brass LED fixtures
  • Redesigned front façade lighting for architectural highlights and symmetry
  • Added path lights and uplights around trees, entryway, and lakefront
  • Corrected voltage drop issues with new zone wiring and transformer setup
  • Tuned beam angles and color temps for a warm, inviting effect

Summing up

This full-system landscape lighting upgrade gave the homeowners better curb appeal, improved nighttime visibility, and a much stronger connection between their architecture and outdoor living spaces. The new setup enhances both function and beauty—especially with the reflections across Lake Tarpon at night.
